Caramelised chicken wings with osmanthus

I believe you have tried out a lot of “best recipes”, how about caramelised chicken wings topped with osmanthus for tonight?

Preparation time:

At least 2 hours

Cooking time:

25 minutes

Ingredients (one dozen of wings):

Chicken wings 12 pcs

Sugar 50g

Water 25g

Dried osmanthus

Salt to taste

Black pepper to taste

How-to-make:

1. Put unfrozen chicken wings in diluted brine for 10 minutes, then rinse the wings with water and tap dry with kitchen towel

2. Marinate chicken wings with salt (around 10g) and black pepper for at least 2 hours

3. Pan-fry chicken wings on medium heat until cooked (approximately 12-15 minutes), put them aside

4. Add in sugar and water in the frying pan, cook on a low heat. Add in the wings when the sugar syrup turns to light brown, and cook until the syrup caramelises

5. Sprinkle dried osmanthus on top before serving.
